bizinho: I have the same issue.
bizinho: Have you tried changing your session in System Settings?
merula: dont know which u mean
merula: can i choose between two users and try?
hmmm
on windows i use group policy to set java to use oracle's jdk or a different one
is there an app to do that for ubuntu
a user can only use one java version
rxd: add it to the path
path?
rxd: the path is the order you run the programs in. It is the system of linking programs to folders
the java in the browser is kind of tricky
it uses oracle jdk and it doesnt seem to want to work with the other jdk
rxd: so add the path to the java you want to use, as you have only 1 Java to run
can i set java in the browser to use another one?
rxd:
well yeah but im talking about java in the browser
rxd: sorry, bit slow, did you read the link I gave?
when i load a page it uses the default
not my oracle jdk
rxd: do you mean the browser?
no
sorry
when i load a page it uses the oracle jdk
